The workshop aims to enlighten the state of the art technology in Solid Waste Management (SWM), organizational and legislative developments and practices and financial burdens and
benefits of handling solid wastes.Participants can also learn about the opportunities to curtail
the use of traditional fossil fuels by utilizing new and renewable technologies such as solar
energy. Hands-on training on Photovoltaics systems and process-control softwares for waste
management will be explored.
The programme is open to faculty of engineering colleges. Those who are interested can mail
to firstname.lastname@example.org latest by Jan 25, 2017. Number of seats is limited to 40 and will be filled
on a First come first served basis.
Course Fee, Accommodation and Conveyance
There is a course fee of Rs.500/- for faculty to attend the programme. The participants will be
provided with course kit and lunch & light refreshments. No TA/DA will be provided.
Accommodation will be arranged on request on payment basis. Participants have to make own
arrangements for their conveyance to and from GEC Bartonhill.
